The focus of Vampire Personals is to assist in meeting new people for friendship or romance (or anything in between).

Ad Content
Make sure to be specific in what you are looking for so as not to have any misunderstandings.
Since we have a "Pen Pal" and "Under 21" age categories, we cater to all ages from 16 and above. Please keep your ads somewhat clean. We don't discriminate against one's needs or preferences, we only ask that you word them without too much unnecessary adult-oriented detail. (Using words like "sex," "SMBD," or "fetish" is fine, describing acts in detail is not.) Likewise we cannot allow nudity. Those wishing a more adult-oriented personals should use services such as gothicprofiles.com instead.
If you are polyamorous, make sure to mention that in your ad to avoid misunderstandings later, as well as make it easier for those interested to find you in a search.
Remember... for your saftey, external contact information such as email, website, or instant messanger addresses are not allowed in ads, but you are welcome to give it out to whomever you wish. Phone numbers and physical addresses are major no-no's.
Members can place more than one ad under the same account. This can be quite useful for someone looking for both, say, pen pals and romance - the two ads can then have content focused on each category. (For example, you might want either gender for a pen pal, but just a male for romance.)
However, we request that you only place ONE ad for each relationship category so as not to bog down the server. (For example, having three "male seeking female" ads would be considered an abuse of this free service.)
Registration
Since we allow multiple ads per account, multiple accounts (i.e. registrations) for any one individual are not permitted and will be deleted when discovered. We are very touchy about that - you do not need more than one account. Period.
Sharing an account is ONLY appropriate for couples placing "couples seeking..." ads.
You must use a valid email address during registration or the system will be unable to deliver response to your ad(s). Accounts with an invalid email address will be deleted to maintain the quality and reliability of this service.
Responding to Ads
Only respond to ads that genuinely interest you. Do not send rude or threatening messages via the confidential email system - abuses will not be tolerated. Keep your opinions to yourself.
If used for solicitation of a product or service legal action WILL be taken and you WILL be charged an extremely high service fee. We have no tolerance for "spammers" - they are not welcome here and we go out of our way to make their life difficult.
If you reply to an ad and get no response, it is ok to try again once more in case the message was somehow lost. However, if there is no response after that, please consider that a "not interested" and refrain from further contact.
Please contact the webmaster immediately of any abuses of the confidential email system and forward him the entire message in question.
